Terms of Service
Last updated September 2026
Peri is in open beta and free to use. These terms describe what you can expect from it and what it expects from you.
Using Peri
By using Peri you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app. Peri is for your own personal, non-commercial use. You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for the security of that account — anyone who can sign into it on your device can see your Peri data.
What Peri is for
Peri helps you notice patterns in your own logged data and suggests how you might adjust training around them. That is all it does. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose, treat, prevent or cure anything, and it is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Its estimates come from what you log plus general wellness principles — not from clinical evaluation of you. If you have a health concern, talk to a clinician, and do not delay doing so because of anything the app shows you. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
This is a beta
Features may change, break or be removed. Insights and recommendations may be wrong, particularly early on when the app has little of your data to work from. Treat them as prompts to think about, not instructions.
Your data, and the risk of losing it
Your data is yours. It is stored in your browser on your device, not by us. That means we cannot recover it for you. If you clear your browser or site data, switch device or browser, or uninstall the app, it can be gone permanently — and because Peri cannot currently import an exported file, exporting does not protect you against that. Please do not use Peri as the only record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Beta feedback
If you send feedback or complete a survey, we may use it to improve Peri. Do not include anything in a feedback message you would not want stored — send observations about the app rather than personal health details.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Peri is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It may be unavailable or contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data or decisions made on the basis of what it showed you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop at any time and delete your data from Settings → Data & Privacy. We may suspend or end the beta, and may change these terms; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
